    I have no idea why I've this question in my feed, but since I did, here's the answer: Boost and standalone variants are basically the same, except few differences, all of which are documented here: https://think-async.com/Asio/AsioAndBoostAsio.html So you can follow almost any tutorial on the internet, as long as you correctly replace the namespace and macro prefixes.
