i am using an external USB connected DAC. The configurator will not open if the DAC is powered off. It is not an issue after discovering the DAC interaction, i just have to power the DAC ON, it is almost always ON anyway, and i rarely have cause to adjust the configurator without audio playing. This issue is caused by an interaction with my USB DAC. If the DAC is OFF, Configuration Editor won't open, except for the first time after reinstalling Equalizer APO. If the DAC is ON, Configuration Editor opens normally. I got myself a pair of JBL 305P monitors so i could have decent sound. When plugged into line out on my ASUS motherboard these revealed excessive noise, even when no sound was playing, so i got a KGUSS DAC. This device has an off/on switch. Equalizer APO was working just a couple days ago and i used Configuration Editor to tweak response. i have used it several times since updating about three weeks ago. Today Configuration Editor won't open, i click on Configuration Editor in the task bar, or Editor.exe in \Program Files\EqualizerAPO and nothing happens except the icon blinks and the wait circle appears for a couple seconds. i'm using win7 with MalwareBytes and Avira, but i have excluded \Program Files\EqualizerAPO from both.
