I tried on both monitors and it didn't work on either. Maybe it is my computer. The export I downloaded has a default of X,Y 800x600 in a window. It works, but changing it to Desktop mode breaks it still. I can play in a 1024x768 window though using the shortcut method, so I'll settle with that. Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.
I gave it a try. It's in 800x600 windowed mode still. I changed the Main -> X,Y coordinates setting to Desktop, and the mouse has the same problems. How are you stretching the window? Maybe I'm using the wrong configuration. Thanks again for your time.
I didn't know there were exports for games available already. But I reinstalled the game, and used the export and it works fine, in the default window. I also tried to change the window size to 1024x768, and it broke the cursor still unless you launch the game with a shortcut with -r1024x768 in the Target location, the only other resolution the base game comes with. I tried making my own shortcut with a 4:3 ratio of 1920x1440 and using DxWnd to force the screen to be larger, but then the mouse breaks...
With the settings I'm using, the mouse works as intended when showing it's position and clicking. The problem I'm having is that there's a second cursor that is not within my control trying to reposition the one I can see constantly. I can however see an in-game popup of where the software cursor would be if you could see it. When I click with the cursor I can see,...

Hi, I downloaded The Sims Complete Collection from Old Game Downloads. It's installed and works relatively well. But I wanted to use DxWnd to get it working fullscreen and with a higher resolution. The problem is, there's a hidden second cursor that hovers about halfway between where my real cursor is and the top left of the sceen. It seems to kind of scale with the distance my real cursor is from the top left edge. I've tried changing settings that looked like they had something to do with the mouse,...
