Man I wish GQ could involve you or people like you when they design the HW and the logic behind their devices. Things would be much better. My compliments for the great results

Here is something simple you can definitely do without needing to configure the AP networking.... Enable your mobile HotSpot and make sure it is 2.4 GHz. Connect your GMC to this network. Does it successfully log data to GMCMAP?

I think the issue is 802.1x. This requires authenticating the device and I do not think GMC is capable of doing so providing an authrntication mechanism. Try configuring the AP as PERSONAL not INFRASTRUCTURE and retry. If you are concerned about your security, then add a MAC filter to your access point to accept only the MAC address of your GMC so nobody would be able to connect to this AP except for the GMC device

So far so good. It is working with my GMC-600+. Will play around with it and report any issue I encounter. Thanks for the excellent work Ullix

Hello My current Python version is 3.10.10 x64 running on WIndows. I intent to upgrade Python to the latest available version, namely 3.11.2 but I do not want to break GeigerLog. Is GL compatible with the latest version? Are there any known issues with the new version? I would like to avoid any incompatibility issues that may arise because of the upgrade. Thanks

    Resistor attached to anode readings

Well, back to 4.7MOhm, and Hamlet: "Anode, or not Anode, that is the question". Yes SIR, this morning I bought 5 of them, and they all measured slightly higher than 4.7 M but still within the 5% tolerance. I'm at the office and it will take some time to go back and do the stuff. I also bought a magnifying glass where I can put the circuit attached to and solder it if needed and few bread boards as well. Following are the DMM readings of the resistors 5.189 M 5.034 M 4.970 M 4.942 M I'll use this...
