Launch4j created app doesn't control the name in task manager

Unable to run launch4j with Java 17

I have a jdk installed (Adopt JDK) C:\Programs\Java\jdk-17.0.1+12 with a JRE under that. When I try to run Launch4J I see the dialog box with the message "This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.8.0" then it tries to download java but the web page never loads. I don' particularly want to install a second java environment and given java 17 should have everything that java 8 has I don't think I should need to. What can I do to encourage launch4j to work with the JVM I already have?
