any news regarding this? With the help of AI things should work faster, is 2026 the year veracrypt finally fixes speed problems? Happy holidays Mounir and thank you for everything.
is that drive just randomly sitting in your home? if yes, then you're good but in a more real life scenario that drive is inside a computer and anyone with access on windows partition not only it will break your plausible deniability but will also get tons of actual data and metadata from the encrypted drive as windows tends to leak everything you do, especially now with the new "feature" of windows screenshoting your desktop every few hours.
I donated some years ago and I'll gladly donate again IF we would have something clear on the table. Say is required 10k $ for him to fix this issue in 3 months, then put a btc address and when it reaches 10k from donations he starts working on it, otherwise I have no use of veracrypt in this current form and donating in the blind without a clear path is not my cup of tea anymore.
thank you for your great work but I'm starting to lose faith that we will ever get the nvme ssd slow speeds fixed even if the issues it's been known for more than 5 years now and it supposed to be fixed in version 1.27, there hasn't been made any progress towards it

thank you for everything. Do you have any update on us regarding any progress fixing nvme ssd write/read speed problems? It's been several years since this problem is well known and seems that a fix will never come.
An optional checkbox to make the option persistent on reboot would be great. But as a fail safe it should get disabled when a new device is inserted, just before the bsod. When all good and no trigger, should be able to stay turned on.
you can trace event id of new hardware being inserted, there are 2-3 event ids that are logged only when a new device is connected, this should avoid easily bsod in existing devices.
