I would like to get the height profile horizontally and I get large downward spikes which is affecting my result. How could I remove those spots or skip them without manually deleting them?

"I have been using a PZT on a GYZO to scan a sample, but I'm having trouble with vibrations causing interference in my data along the fringes of the contour. I have tried using Gwyddion FFT post-processing to remove the noise, but it hasn't been successful. Can someone guide me on how to the remove the bad data from the image ?
