I'm still at the same point Nicola, so at least you're not alone. I also tried to download an older executable from the keepass site, but only could find 2.44. Anyone have a link or steps to download an older version?

I'm still running into the same error, but the notification window has changed (so something is different). Here are the steps I took: from Salat Production 1) disabled IE 11 through control panel 2) added the three reg strings At this point, the authorization window came up but was distorted and completely unusable (i.e. the "Next" button didn't work and there was no action I could take from the pop up.
