Just to add - in the list of the windows I see the other window (second in the list) is actually selected, but the focus switch does not happen upon release (if everything is done quickly enough).

Well, perhaps some people do not want to be tracked based on user names across different platforms. Anyways, it is not feasible to change user names in hundreds of systems just so that a list in KeePass is more concise.

Thank you, that is a sort of a workaround, however, it requires the toolbar to be shown and mouse to be used (so it's slower in usage than my suggestion), also you need to choose in advance which user name you will use, and it does not help when editing existing entries. It would be much more convenient to have the option to be shown only a limited list of suggestions.

Indeed this workaround works if you change your whole user name policy in advance, which is unfortunately not really practical.

Not exactly. I am talking about the Edit Entry dialog, you seem to be talking about the entry list, where I can simply double-click the field I want to copy anyways. I also know I can copy the user name and password by right-clicking on the respective fields themselves in the Edit Entry dialog and choosing Copy but it would make things faster to have small dedicated buttons next to the User Name field and the Password field that could be clicked.
