I may have found a solution that doesn't involve dxwnd. If I run the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3 and wait until after the video, I don't get the general protection fault and I can switch to windowed mode after that and it seems to work. I can't go back to fullscreen after that or it crashes again, but OBS seems to be able to capture it and the game seems to play fine. Hopefully it works well enough to get a full playthrough out of it. Thanks for all the help, and I'll...
Not sure if this update relates to my other topic, but Splinter Cell will not run in a window at all with this version. All "run in window" related settings result in full screen.
Yes, I have a 3840x1080 monitor that I bought for multitasking for work. That's the reason I need it to run in a window because I need to record for YouTube in 1920x1080, and the game stretches if I switch to that resolution in fullscreen. It also helps because I can have OBS running next to it so I can monitor the recording. Yes, I did select that option, and that's the one that locks the cursor to the edge of the screen. Been_Nath_58 did that as well and confirmed it does the same for him. See...
I have a Logitech G502 Lightspeed I'm not sure why the Lock Cursor setting does what it does. I just know that when I turn it on, I can only move the mouse along the edges of the screen. The effect goes away when I turn it back off. The Tweak triggered the problem again, sending the mouse to the bottom right of the screen The provided .dll causes a constant, slow movement toward the bottom right of the screen.
I absolutely, 100% need it in a window. I can't run it full screen because my native resolution is 3840x1080, which is way too wide for YouTube. I need it to be run in a window at 1920x1080. It works fine at the settings I had, just have the mouse issue. What would cause the mouse to keep jumping around? What in the settings I posted makes it seem like it's fullscreen? 1920x1080 is not fullscreen on my monitor.

Already tried that. It forces the mouse to the edge of the screen, which prevents menu interactions.
No, that forces the mouse to the edge of the screen, which prevents menu interactions.
