I am sorry, I found the solution myself. Didnt know that the vertical flip setting in "View" is a permanent setting . Sorry for bothering and thank your for the good work

Hello, I have two computers, both Debian 11, and have installed ASTAP version 2022.06.16 64bit on both of them. One is in the observatory and one at my desk at home. When I display the same image on both computers with ASTAP it is orientated north-up on the desktop computer and south-up on the observatory computer. This is very confusing during a combined observation and processing session. Is there a way to change this behaviour ? Thanks a lot Götz

Hello Jan, it helps already a lot to know that the EJBCA team did not increase the IterationCount deliberately. So thanks a lot for your reply. Could be that the folks at bouncy castle now more about the problem then. I am not sure if the xca problem is related. The IterationCount only increases the time to open the keystore by about 0.1sec, at least when we are in java. I could only be the xca has a a very inefficient method to open the keystore. Dont know. Anyway, the longer IterationCounts are...

Looks like there is not going to be an answer here, sad. Some information about what we found out about this issue, may it be helpful to others: The IterationCount is set to 102400. I have searched through the source code of the EJBCA. IterationCounts are used and set on several occasions. However, whenever it is set, it is set to 1024. EJBCA appears to be using the bouncy castle library to create PKCS12 keystores. Since it is open source, I also search through their source code. Here IterationCounts...

We are using the EJBCA community edition, currently 6.15.2.6. We have established a system that creates pkcs12 keystores with ejbca.sh and deploys them automatically with puppet to the applications. Certificates are used to secure maschine-to-machine communication. We recently found that the iteration count parameter on the BPE MAC and key algorithms of the pkcs12 keystores created by the EJBCA seem to have changed from 1024 to 102400 and 51200. This can be seen by, e.g., using "openssl asn1parse"...

Since this problem begins to become production critical for us and we need help, I have rewritten the post with some more details in the help section of the forums. This post can thus be ignored.

This can be seen by, e.g., using "openssl asn1parse" on the p12 keystores. The Iteration Count is kind of a protection against brute force attacks, making the decryption of the Keystore slower. In out case we have a 0.1sec delay due to the higher IterationCount....
