Note that you just need to change 1 line of code in the plugin (see initial report) and everything works flawlessly, this is perhaps even less effort (and no dependencies).
Thanks for your swift and helpful response. I've successfully disabled the components on our iTop test instance. Note that deleting the corresponding values from table priv_module_install has no impact - the checkboxes are still disabled during setup and the component remains enabled - instead, the table priv_extension_install is supposed to be used. There also seems to be a difference in naming in both tables: priv_module_install: itop-change-mgmt itop-knownerror-mgmt itop-problem-mgmt priv_extension_install:...
Hello, We would like to disable some extensions / iTop components that were enabled in the past but never used. In the FAQ at https://www.itophub.io/wiki/page?id=itop_hub%3Afrequently-asked-questions#how_do_i_remove_an_extension I found "How do I remove an extension?" Same issue just popped up here as well. Issue is caused by MariaDB upgrade (on Debian) from "1:10.3.25-0+deb10u1" to "1:10.3.27-0+deb10u1". I've used following command to downgrade MariaDB # apt-get install mariadb-common=1:10.3.25-0+deb10u1 mariadb-client-10.3=1:10.3.25-0+deb10u1 mariadb-client-core-10.3=1:10.3.25-0+deb10u1 mariadb-server-10.3=1:10.3.25-0+deb10u1 mariadb-server-core-10.3=1:10.3.25-0+deb10u1 mariadb-server=1:10.3.25-0+deb10u1 After that backup / views seems to work ok again.
