Hello, so i'm trying to connect a basic python program to plc simulator plc sim installed on the same laptop. Can i do that? Or does it have to on another computer connected via ethernet cable. I'm trying to connect by wireless network adapter.

Hey, I have a problem with connecting to a plc sim simulation of tia portal project located on mylaptop. I'm writing a python application. and anytime i try to connect a get the snap7.snap7exceptions.Snap7Exception: b' TCP : Unreachable peer'. I tried to ping the plc sim, but read somewhere that it doesn't respond to that. Do you know any solution to that? I really need this. Python version 3.4x86 Windows 7 TiaPortal v14 PLC SIM v14
