already tried with FiiO K9 disconnected. mic drivers from old cameras were cleaned along with the other ghost devices. did not uninstall all audio drivers. Some I can't, like hdmi audio from monitors. For the other drivers, it is too much work, and if that indeed is the culprit then the software won't work for me... Still I do not believe it is the drivers, FiiO is a widespread vendor, which many audiophiles use.. oh well, I gave it a try, lol. maybe I'll try next version, or if the developer wants...

Mostly audio devices from my 2 monitors connected through hdmi/displayport. Every time Nvidia GPU drivers update, those devices refresh...a couple old mic drivers from old cameras, and 1 old FiiO K9 device from when I changed the USB port. Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately it did not work. Even though "Equalizer APO issue solver" showed no error (attached) I went through the painful task of cleaning my registry, advanced run regedit (run as trustedinstaller) under: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render deleted 22 ghost devices and left only the active ones. still it crashes with the same error..

tried that, no fix. Although it is understandable since there are no registry values to be corrupted. The editor and device selector, never did run, they crashed immediately.
