This is my batch I run on startup, maybe it can help. https://github.com/user-attachments/files/26440986/fabfilter.bat.txt
Sorry I wasn't here on the forum for a while. I'm glad that it helped some people. Writing this down was a hastle ^^' As mentioned this is not that easy, you have to take time and dig into it. This is not a trivial 5 min solution. Thanks to everyone who added info to tackle this. @Tony Manfredonia Yes these entries will be always there after restart, this doesn't matter. You have 30 days to delete them again. I have a batch file that removes them always on system start, so I don't have to deal with...
In EQ APO editor you can also use add (green plus sign) comment and input: Copy: L=0.5L+0.5R R=0.5L+0.5R
Im not sure if you are talking about EQ APO editor or peace, but if you mean EQ APO editor and just want to turn something (VST plugin) on and off you can just make 2 batch files and then bind them to a key or have a shortcut on desktop or taskbar. this is only a template, you have to save your "config.txt" with the desired settings the batch would look like this @echo off :again copy /Y "C:\yourprofile.txt" "C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\config\config.txt"

What you probably are looking for is loudnorm or loudnorm+speechnorm, but at this point there is no way to run it systemwide. For youtube, movies etc. playback you can use MPV (video player) which supports all ffmpeg audio filters.
