Wellread1, thank you! Too soon old, too late smart... I have used KeePass for years (with KeePass2Android on my phone in fact), and used my clumsy copy and paste the db onto my PC as my backup and to access passwords on my PC. I mostly use my phone, so all new entries I've always made on the phone and I guess the copy and paste of the db was just my own laziness/old school brain. And it worked fine until just a few weeks ago. Just dumb luck I suppose. Anyway, I will now join the ranks of proper users...

Thanks Paul! Sadly I couldn't get this to work. I got a "no content provider" error. I copied the file from my phone to the PC, into a temp file I opened KeePass on my phone and selected Synchronize from the 3 dot menu (no File>synchrize option was available) I tried the same operation on the PC: opened the KeePass app on the PC while KeePass was also open on my phone, selected Synchronize with file from the menu there (which was offered as a selection unlike in the phone app), then selected the...

When I copy my .kdbx file from my Android phone to my PC, recent changes made on my phone don't show up in the copied db. I have used this as my backup means for a number of years and not had this problem until just a couple weeks or so ago. I have tried re-installing the app on my PC, exporting the db... Anyone else had this issue??
