Man, this issue is annoying me for years now! The app is too good to ditch it, but I remember I once switched a few months over to winrar just to get this functionality! In the end a came back because I like the open source aspect... And it could be such an easy fix for the devs, but all I got as an answer was one time "7zip is a cli application, the 7zfm gui is just a by-product, and so not treated as the real deal"...
