That is a nice workaround for my problem ;-) I did not see anything in the trigger recipe that would sync the local database file other than when it was saved. So, for instance, not on intial opening, to name one (important) moment. I added a trigger event for this and also one for a periodic sync. You might want to add this (at least the one that triggers after the file is opened) to the recipe. Another possible improvement to the recipe is to put a placeholder in the synchronisation location. Google Drive has changed the way it operates under Windows and is pushing out a new product. A major change is that it now "streams" data, so it is not available offline by default. Items, like files and directories, can be marked to be offline available though.
