Thanks. I have not used passkeys. I think you are saying that you use passkeys, but let your OS do it for you. I choose not not use my OS or browsers to handle my passwords. So I will probably wait.

I happily use KeePass (not a fork) for passwords, including broker, banks, and more. I currently use TOTP ({TIMEOTP})for sites where that is available. Vanguard, Schwab, Fidelity, ID.me and more allow optionally setting up a Passkey. I have looked at the listings in https://keepass.info/plugins.html and I have not figured out how I would use a passkey with one of these plugins with KeePass. To this point I have avoided all plugins. Is there a good description of how to do that with KeePass? And if...

Thanks. I did Drag and drop before seeing your reply, which worked easily enough. I had to think about which bin to use. As an exploration, in 2.58 I did try right-clicking a couple other old entries in the recycle bin; Rearrange>Restore, and found 'Move to Previous Parent Group' was grayed-out. The entries I tried may have been deleted well before version 2.48.

I will look for an undelete/restore, but will try drag and drop if I do not find that.

You should Delete the .kbdx flie that you mucked up. You should copy the working .kbdx file from the old computer.
