You should Delete the .kbdx flie that you mucked up. You should copy the working .kbdx file from the old computer. There should be no need to reinstall KeePass onto the computer, unless there is some problem. Also keep a copy of your .kbdx file on one or more USB drive, and synchronize occasionally.

Interesting hint 15 years after the last response from Paul. I found it interesting too. I did not know that. Timeless. I guess that is cleared by default. That seems to be a good setting. Ctrl+H is easy enough to do.

We use KeePass with a TOTP plugin to manage MFA I use KeePass without a plugin for TOTP, but I don't know IMMI. But if your plug-in is failing you, consider that KeePass can do that natively now. https://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/329221/thread/3bdc07b8a4/ is an example.

Today I was getting the message popup "Spambot protection engaged". I then tried Edge instead of Firefox, and posted successfully.
I had mused about that possibilty, but was thinking it would send Alt+( %(xyz) would be a lot easier.
