Unfortunately, I may have discovered a bug. My profile has the only scanner I have listed with an icon that is selected. The software prompts me to select a scanner nonetheless. Can't find any Clear button on the toolbar. Found Clear All in the File Menu.

Got it. Two remaining questions. 1. Each scan asks me to select the scanner. Any way to select a scanner and have it function as the default destination so I don't need to select the scanner with each scan? 2. After scanning is completed, how do I clear the scanner window of images of pages? Thanks so much in advance.

I was thrilled to find NAPS2 when I was unable to use my new silicon Mac to scan using an older multifunction device. NAPS2 works with the SANE driver for a Canon Pixma scanner.
