    This is not an issue with lf aligner per se. I package lf aligner into an executable with par packer, so it's up to the behaviour of par::packer. There are many possible options, one of them being to modify the code of par packer to place the executable elsewhere. Maybe you could also try fishing for the executable creted by par packer and running that directly. It's also possible to install perl and the modules required by lf aligner and run the .pl script directly, but that is a bit of a pain in...
