Yes - you are right this is a good plugin and this solves this issue. But this plugin integreates not so smoth as an build-in function: 1. The Generator has it's own Rule-Builder and this is not so powerful and nice like the one from KeePass 2. The plug-in is not localized (just English)

You must remeber wich rule is required for this password and you should not use "derive from pervious password" to often for one password - for security reasons (see the manual). And sometimes it happens, that the newly generated password, doesn't fit the required rules (selected the wrong stored password-rule) - then I've got to close the entry window and reopen the entry - to access the old password again.
