Hi, who can compile vcxsrv with another name eg. vcxxxxsrv so that a second installation on same PC is possible? We are 2 different service partners of a medical office in germany and we both want to use vcxsrv in different ways, especially different system.XWinrc (noframe and topmost, other normal, different configuration, different linux machines) on Win10/Win11. I found log file in c:\Users\win10\AppData\Local\Temp\VCXsrv.0.log Inside logfile I saw that vcxsrv tries to load a .Xwinrc . I have no .Xwinrc I found out that on that PC that not worked properly vcxsrv had version 64.1.14, other PC in same network hat 64.1.20. I updated to 64.1.20 , then topmost works. But still strange, that my setting in system.XWinrc are still not considered : deleting "noframe" no frame appears on that PC. In other a other office with 12 Win10-PCs the version vcxsrv-64.1.14.5.installer.exe...

Hello, styles { Tk noframe topmost } in system.XWinrc is not working with every win10 installation. But nearly any. What setting/bug in Win10 could prevent to allow a window to be "topmost"? BTW: any other window can cover my tk-window, not only one window that is "topmost", too! tia Eckard -- E.Gerlach
