Yes, in the earlier version, the much simpler one without the dictionary or the ability to download the read text as an audio file, if you typed something in the "This is the test string" field, and then pressed enter, it'd read whatever you typed in as if you clicked the test button. It's largely just a convenience feature, but if it's not too much trouble to add, that'd be very nice and much appreciated.
