And btw, pretty sure the search in itop <3.X did distinguish between chars so that's why i reported it as a bug (we updated 3 weeks ago). But if so, maybe this change was intended in the new major.
Hi Vincent, I can understand the feature with é è ê and e as I suppose those have quite similar pronociation and purposes in french (could be wrong here, I don't know any french unfortunately). However, in Swedish the letters are very different in both pronociation and purposes. E.g. in above example "vågen" means "the scale" and would return few hits, but "vägen" means "the road" and returned a lot of hits due to our 1400 Location adresses 🙂 Would be more logical for us if the global search feature...
