Hello Davis, Thank you very much for your response, I really appreciate it. I've tried adding CloseDI at the end of the file (I tried both before and after the solve command, and I tried spelling it CloseDI/Close DI/close DI/closeDI) and I'm still getting the invalid pointer operation. Do you have any suggestions as to what this could be? Warm regards Eliz

Hi all, I am attempting to simulate a network but using the .AllBusVmag output from the COM interface has given me a set of voltages at each bus that are very unbalanced, for instance: BUS 75675 230.48404064003998, 230.68229360296633, 0.4240032027444632 BUS 254455 0.4246802585832997, 230.8797440864698, 230.52208239900833 After having tried to troubleshoot this by changing several different configurations, I'm at a bit of a loss what to do and would greatly appreciate any guidance. Best regards, ...

Does a file sharing error imply that the csv file is open? The smallTest/DI_yr_0 folder is created when set demandinterval=true, but the .csv file is never created. I tried adding in blank 'DI_Totals_1.csv' file ahead of running it but that didn't fix the error either. I've had no issues with .csv files for monitors - they come up fine which is reassuring, if not a touch perplexing. The circuit is now solving when set demandinterval=true, but I'm now getting an invalid pointer operation error Error...

Hi all, I am attempting to model the impact of simultaneous battery charging on voltage levels of an LV network. My problem is twofold: firstly, I am unable to export hourly voltage levels at each bus. I have tried to use set overloadreport and set voltexcept (as suggested in this forum post https://sourceforge.net/p/electricdss/discussion/beginners/thread/df98a6fa/ ) but whenever set demandinterval=true, I get this error which I have been unable to fix.: Error 303 Reported From OpenDSS Intrinsic...

That took the active losses back down to sensible levels - thank you so much for your help!

Hi all, I'm trying to simulate a small distribution network (41 loads, 73 lines), and am getting unusually high active power losses - 84.3% or 17.4kW/20.5kW. I took my queues constructing the OpenDSS code from the IEEE European LV test case, which has a similar number of loads (55) but only ~2W losses. I reviewed the most significant line losses (in the order of kW) in the network, and they are almost all across the conductors which directly leave the transformer node. The conductors connected to...
