Hi, I have the same behaviour. SSH login with AD authentication always work to the server. But the webaccess to webmin fails after a while. I am using Ubuntu 22.04 and Webmin 2.010 I noticed though that if I follow the procedure above I get this if I restart webmin [11/Jan/2023:01:10:11 +0100] PAM test failed - maybe /etc/pam.d/webmin does not exist The file obviously is there... To get it working again I do: 1) cp webmin.org webmin 2) restart webmin Then I get: [11/Jan/2023:01:12:10 +0100] PAM authentication...

Hi, We use syslog to gather logfiles from all devices in the network on central syslog servers. It works fine from the server running webmin as well and I could use imfile option in rsyslog to send those logfiles I mention above to the central syslog server. But the built-in option sounded smoother, just tick a box.
Ok. I have Perl 5.34.0 installed. And now the Syslog module is also installed. cpan[2]> install Sys::Syslog Sys::Syslog is up to date (0.36). Still I don't really see anything in my syslog server. I see these things: webmin[851]: Webmin starting webmin[996]: Webmin reloaded configuration But I saw that before installing that Perl module. I would like to see things like what is seen in logfiles like: /var/webmin/webmin.log /var/webmin/miniserv.log

Hi, Is some extra perl module still required for the 'Also log to syslog' functionality? I am using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and have enabled the feature but don't see anything in my syslog server.
Hi, I have set up two Bind servers with views, one master and one slave. Pretty much as in example 3 in this KB: https://kb.isc.org/docs/aa-00851 The Zone transfer is working for the different views so I guess my config files are ok. But in webmin I can not use the "Test Zone Tranfer" button which is quite handy... When press it I get this error: Testing transfer of slave zone from 192.168.7.27 key trusted-key .. .. from 192.168.7.27 key trusted-key : Failed : /bin/dig: couldn't get address for '192.168.7.27...
