I'm going to be frustrated with your reply but I believe something is broken within Keepass. I have been using Keepass for ages with the same password but suddenly cannot log into a .kbdx file using my master password. I DID NOT change the password. I am the ONLY one who knows this password. So doing more testing, unfortunately your suggestion doesn't work when you open a box to "edit" or "add entry",
