Do you have a roadmap for an attempt at migration to .NET 8 (for instance)? At least a conceptual one? What do you estimate are the showstopper issues? I really wanted to disagree with your position on this, but then I looked into .NET MAUI. Microsoft's cross platform GUI solution for .NET does not yet include a Linux version, at least officially. So not having official GUI support native to .NET on a critical platform seems like a showstopper to me. Are there others?
I dearly wish I could! But I have no idea how to make it misbehave again. I've not encountered something like this before. But let me say this: THANK YOU for responding. I've been using KeePass since at least 2005. This weird behavior unnerved me so much I was considering moving to another solution. I really like the approach that pass has, using git to do the syncing between instances. But I rely on KeePass to do the ol' autotype routine, into various websites, etc. And obviously over the last two...
OK, what the... what is going on? I just did an export to XML, because reasons. Then, I switch back to KeePass, and suddenly drag and drop is working. WHY ? This is a weird bug. Is it a .NET Framework bug? Or KeePass? Very strange.
sometimes you just want the icons to be cornflower blue
Isn't there the ability to move entries from one group to another via drag and drop? How about using drag and drop to move a subgroup from under one group to another? I could have sworn this used to work. But now selecting a node and dragging does nothing.
