After too much research to reach such a basic piece of info I learned that in order to create NTFS volumes you need to run as administrator..But Veracrypt warns against that I might not be able to have write access after im done.. I am not sure what to do next, Ill just do it and hope for the best..

No I am not interseted in wipe mode , i did not confuse.. On the other hand I understand now that encryption could be made in a different manner when it is non-system vs system drive.. I would like to know if there are any more logistical/ technical difference between 'In-Place encryption ' vs 'encrypt and format'.. Thanks a bunch.
i intend to encrypt a system drive...and in the guide I DONT see the option to format first but rather it encrypts the whole drive on the go.. That i dont understand..
