I cannot agree. Until today - with version 25.01 - I have it with every rar. I checked several time if there is anything. Unfortunately I think that such supersensitive alarming is causing blindness after a while. Since I get it always without a reason, I get numb and skip checking totally. I would prefer that this kind of false positive indicating would be removed or could be suppressed by some flag in any option checkbox.
Are you sure? When I apply a right mouse click on an entry that has an URL I get the menu you can see in the attachment. It opens the URL in the browser I click there. I am not aware of having installed any plugin. But this works only on entries in the URL field. When I enter URLs in the enhancement fields this is not available.
FYI: I also tried keepassxc. And it's right: it tries to offer a little improved UI for this. But seems all of these forks and relatives suffer from the problem I addressed: the missing array capability for URLs in the file format. When I enter more URLs for one account they are gathered in these enhanced string fields that KeePass also offers. Again I get reduced usability: I cannot open these fields with the context menu in a browser from a given selection. Maybe it would be enough to offer the...
There is an app that works on the database. I know it is from another group or person. I think I made this clear. Are my answers really that short, that I need to reply to nitpicking like this? Did you get my problem or not? Are you interested in real users feedback or not? Otherwise I would stop wasting our time like my whole life before.
Paul, what do you mean with "to complicate"? I am sure we talk about "enabling at all" for all non-nerds. Let's do short walkthrough (that's what usability experts do to estimate users actions/interactions). I have some entry and now it happens: one nice day there is now an app in addtion to the old website. Every bigger company offers today such double accesses. In the attachment "01-entry-field.png" there is my existing entry. What hint is there for an ordinary user (who clicks exactly the available...

@Paul: I know them all. I fight since years with this. As you can see in my first post I referenced exactly to this work arounds. That's what they are. I didn't say this problems can not be work arounded. I ask for a solution that support clean administration without such nerd hacks. What do we have: 1) An URL field and using (no: misusing) a custom string as a 2nd one. Really a substitute? Can I open the browser/app from there like with the URL field? No. Can I see this in the main list listed?...
