Thank you. I backup daily to a portable hard drive. Just wasn't sure I'd be able to transport the saved KeePass database to a new device, if needed. Sounds like I'll be able to do so.

I've used keepass for years and have dozens of passwords saved. Trying to figure out the best way to recover the keepass file in case my computer dies someday. Keepass 2.40 for windows is currently on my computer. (1) Is it possible to save the file to a flashdrive or backup harddrive or (2) can I somehow convert my existing keepass for windows to a portable version or (3) something else. Please note that I'm not a programmer, so you'll probably have to use small tech words when giving me advice...
