    Hi Sean. As I was not successful with the firewall, I thank the solution and I will continue studying about BRL-CAD. At the same time, I will work with the firewall. I consider it solved. Thank you.

    Hi Sean. You are rigth, the firewall is the problem. I disabled it and the raytrace worked right. The firewall is the Gufw(ufw) and I added a rule allow entry traffic for the port 5559, but didn't work. I've been tried several firewall settings with no result, excepting if disabled it. Any idea?

    Hi there. I'm a beginner. On Lesson 4, when I click "Raytrace", had this issue: " Requesting 16 cpus, only 4 available. Will use 4. BRL-CAD release 7.30.2 The BRL-CAD Raytracer RT ... " " ... pkg_open: client connect: errno=110 rem_open: can't connect to fb server on host "localhost", port "5559". fb_open: can't open device "0", ret=-3. rt: can't open frame buffer Raytrace aborted.
