I have looked back at ChessX 1.5.7 and the the engine-specific MultiPV option was being ignored in the Analysis window in that version, so this behaviour is not something that was introduced in version 1.6. It is annoying to set up MultiPV options for ones favourite engine(s) and then find that MultiPV has to be set to > 1, if desired, every time the Analysis window is run. May I please ask you to think again about changing the program to use the MultiPV engine setting.
Analysis Window: Engine MultiPV settings ignored
Should have added - Windows 11, Scid vs. PC version 4.23.

I have QT 5.13.2 and I want to compile ChessX. In "chessx" folder, when I run: C:\Qt\Qt5.13.2\5.13.2\msvc2017_64\bin\lupdate.exe chessx.pro, I get the message: "cannot run compiler 'cl' " - see attached file for full message. Please tell me what am I doing wrong. M J Brown mj37brown@gmail.com
Hi Steve, Thanks for the advice. I've removed the rounding lines, tested the scid.gui again and it looks fine. I attach the diff file.
