Hi Paul, thank you very much for your answer. I am absolutely sure that both the key file and Windows User Account are correct. By the way, I can't access any database anymore and I'm sure it's because of the ProtectedUserKey.bin. Unfortunately I don't have a backup where this file is included. Many greetings
Hello all, I rebooted my computer and since then KeePass (2.50) does not work anymore. I get the message that the master key is wrong. I can't tell if Windows updates have been installed in the meantime. Fact is, the file "ProtectedUserKey.bin" has the modification date when the computer was rebooted. The key file and the database still have the older modification date. Unfortunately I don't have an update of this file and I don't have access to my passwords anymore.
