I tried Peter's work around but with a tweak. I downloaded and installed JDK 12. It's working! Thanks!

I tried Peter's work around but with a tweak. I downloaded and installed JDK 12 instead thinking that the latest version is better. Now Freemind starts but doesn't display anything. Back to the drawing board.
