Nokia 8: (VID=2e04 and PID=c025) is UNKNOWN
Phone is set to MTP transfer and eg.kdesudo gmtp allows to copy files. sudo jmtpfs -l Unable to open ~/.mtpz-data for reading, MTPZ disabled. Device 0 (VID=2e04 and PID=c026) is UNKNOWN. Please report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development team Available devices (busLocation, devNum, productId, vendorId, product, vendor): 1, 20, 0xc026, 0x2e04, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN KDE Filemanager only shows the CD-Rom content I am unsure who to "blame" and where to continue investigating.
Any additional data needed? Nokia 3 seems to show up as USB Massstorage device offereing some Mac and Windows installer files. Is libmtp expected to switch or eg. usb-modeswitch? Christian
