To Paul & Lin: Manually saving the database after selecting a new target window has no effect. Still always have to select a new target window every time I attempt to logon. In creating a login for Blue Cross Blue Shield, when the login screen appeared I went into the BCBS KeePass entry and selected that target window. Popping back to the login screen I was able to login as expected. However, I find that I have to do this (select target window) every time I try to login. Each target window displayed in the Auto-Type tab of KeePass is identical yet I still have to select a target window which of course matches any previous target window displayed. Well, that worked. Invoking the CTRL>ALT>A hot keys executes the first (window) string then I have to manually choose a selection before I execute the second (window) string. It may not be what you were trying to convey but it works. Once again wellread1, I couldn't have done it without your guidance, thanks.

Is the answer to have two "Target windows". One with the first part of the string and the second with the remainder of the string?

Forgive me for being so obtuse but I already have a target window and an Auto-Type string for this particular login. How would I go about modifying the existing Auto-Type string?

Well, that sure sounds like it would do the same thing. How does one go about writing multiple strings?

Is there a way to pause the execution of the remainder of an auto-type string? I want to stop execution of the auto-type string until such time as I press a keyboard key which would allow the string to complete.
