Hi Daniel, Thanks for replying so quickly. The <bitrate>xxx</bitrate> element in the XML file sets the property on the Icecast mount point. Then it by default gets shown on the public status page.

Hi Daniel, Thanks for the confirmation. I had tried it on Icecast 2.4.0 KH15 in the past but most recently it's only been on 2.4.4 Xiph. Not a big deal - streaming over HTTP has never been a major issue so long as - if you're using 2.4.4 Xiph - you have a second non-SSL socket configured. Hi Daniel, Apologies for the delay. I can confirm that the problem does not occur when using 127.0.0.1 or my LAN IP - just localhost. The two computers I tried it on is the streaming computer at a community radio station I work at and my home PC; two different networks. The station PC is running 20H2 and my home PC is running 21H1, if that's any help to you. Hopefully you'll be able to replicate the issue on your end, with the latest Xiph Icecast build. Just to further note, butt was running on the same computer as the Icecast servers and was connecting up via the localhost hostname. It didn't seem to be an issue connecting to the same Icecast server from a remote computer.
