I didn't care if VeraCrypt was mounted to F or not, I assumed that it would need to be mounted to the external drive, which is mounted as F. I tried using a different available letter but the install failed. I uninstalled VeraCrypt, doesn't seem to be what I am looking for. Thanks for trying to help, appreciate your time.

Hi-I'm creating VeraCrypt Container for an external hard drive, which is mounted currently on drive F. I followed the Beginner's Tutorial and created the Volume file (.hc file) on the F drive. I'm at the point where the new volume will be mounted, but drive F is not included on the list of available drives to choose. Not sure how to proceed, since I need the volume to be on drive F. Thank you.
