    Sorry, Rolf. Already returned the Infinity, as it won't work anyway with the free version of Express Scribe, that one of my co-workers wants to use on her Mac. That's why I asked about the AltoEdge, because it does work on the free version of Express Scribe. For my Linux system, I would just use your program. So I need a foot pedal that works for both.

    Thank you for the quick response. In fact, I specifically ordered the Infinity USB-2 model, and the sticker on the package said USB2, but I did wonder when the package itself said "Infinity 3". Perhaps I will return it. On Amazon I see the Olympus RS-27 and RS-31H available, but not the RS-28. Will either of these work?
