Hi there. I'm not sure this is the best place to start this, but I also have subtitle encoding problems, and when I searched on that topic this is what came up. Mine is that, while AVStoDVD mostly completes its work, it aborts once it starts encoding the subtitles. These subtitles are are separate from the .mkv movie file, and were encoded separately by myself using Jubler supposedly as a UTF-8 compatible file, and were saved with an identical filename to the movie, but with an .srt ending.
