Hello I'd like to switch completely to this (for me) new mindmapping software, one thing is preventing me to do it though can you please help for a solution? here it is: - the distance or space between each edge is too narrow and it creates a cluttered and unclear map, I'd like to increase the distance between each edge like in the first picture (freemind), the second picture is freeplane, you can see edges are very close together:

yes exactly, i submitted the feature, I believe with a different shape and more space the result is much more nice, clear and tidy

Thank you, problem is that by increasing the child gap it increases mostly the distance between each node and less the distance between edges at the start of each edge, i'd like to increase the distance between each edge to make it like freemind in the first picture. is it possible?
