As it does not appear to be ovious: there should be a note somewhere clarifying that the MDS handle requested targets the providers current MDIB sequence. In order for a consumer to know to which MDS handle the answer belongs, the consumer can inspect pm:AbstractGetResponse/@SequenceId.
