I have a geometry problem with a wall that contains 3 layers and the outer layer is unlocked. That unlocked layer has a Top Extension. When I export that wall without opening, the geometry in the IFC is good, but when I insert an opening in it that cuts through the unlocked layer, the geometry in IFC changes to a solid wall without the extension. When I place the same opening above the top extension in the wall, the geometry in IFC is good. see attached images and files. Is there a solution?

Dear On the forum questions have already been asked about the possibilities to give shared nested families a relationship in IFC. For example IfcRelDecomposes. I think that this is not possible with the current exporter. But is this possible by adding extra parameters in de nested families or something like that? Best regards,
