Hi, I'll take one more attempt at this. Leaving your configuration as diagrammed- On the Windows10 Settings / System / Sound after you have started Jamulus, does it still show that Realek and Intel are still disabled? My other thought is to unplug the HDMI monitor, and have the minimum of connections. Laptop / interface, keyboard, and headphone into the interface. Is the feedback immediate, or when you connect to a server? If it is immediate, then it is a keyboard-interface issue. Is it possible you...

If this hasn't resolved yet. I also noticed the USB interface is not listed on the Windows System sound setting page. I would suggest disabling the Realtek and Intel devices, Closing the Window 10 setting page, plugging in the USB interface, reopening the Windows 10 Setting page for System settings/sound and seeing if the USB interface is available and select/enable it, then start Jamulus. I have had occurrences using usb devices that require disabling other devices and restarting software before...

Thank you, Here's a diagram of placement, the foam is an vibration damper for the mic on the metal plate. Slide it side to side to find the sweet spot in your piano. Used AT mics are plentiful on eBay. There was several models, the one I referenced is one of the larger models. They were also OEM'd for conferencing systems, VTEL is one of them. If you have the time to sit and go through the listings, I just set the search to All Categories, ending soonest, pick a search term and see what's there....

To me, it depends on what you have available in your microphone kit. My preferences for recording is a boundary microphone such as a Crown PCC160 or AT871 on a piece of .50-1.00cm open cell foam on the plate where the body of the piano curves towards the end, up against the wood. A second SDC such as a Shure SM81 or KSM137, or KSM141 over the mid-strings hole. If you are on a budget, a Shure SM57 or 58. A third LDC to capture the lows/mid lows on a boom over the strings with the piano lid on the...

Our Orchestral group would like to attempt using Jamulus for 4-6 remote players plus the mix of the group on stage. We do not have the resources at this time to set up our own private server. Since the public servers are provided by individuals, we don't wish to commandeer someone else's rehearsal space. What is the protocol for this situation? Do we observe the proposed rehearsal time and see which servers are free during that period and then sign in and hope that we haven't inconvenienced the primary...

Has the issue of user IP address being visible connecting to a server, public or private been discussed? . To be honest I don't understand networking structure, but I would have thought this would be a concern given the privacy regulations in some regions. I've tried to find a thread that addresses this observation but most I have read are connectivity issues. Anyone have knowledge whether this has been observed and determined not a concern? The techs are discouraging getting a server set-up at this...

Hi, sorry I stepped away there. I have a similar device settings box. I'm a bit confounded at this point. Have you tried connecting with an open server and just played output from the Scarlett into an empty Jamulus room to see if your output meter is registering anything? It should show up on output and your channel metering. Have you panned between the Scarlett direct headphone monitoring, and the software monitoring to see if there is something on both sides while connected to a server? If you...

I connected the Saffire and took a snap of the settings. Does your settings reflect the same driver selection? I actually disabled the computer microphone and speakers to avoid accidental feedback looping after my first attempts with Jamulus. I apologize to all who's ears I've injured in the learning curve. I found that just because it shows which is selected in the device manager, it wasn't disconnecting the onboard mic or built in speakers initially. The 2-3 seconds to mouse up to close the window...
