Hi Steven, sorry for the late answer. I believe that the partition was saved correctly and this is demonstrated by the fact that after several attempts I have restored it, using a 2005 Clonezilla CD. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly the actions done, but I hypothesized that it could be a defect of the 2011 Clonezilla CD that I had used initially. I'm sorry I can't provide more details!
