Running a pi3b+ with Arpicade. Has advmame 1.4 and advmame 3.9 which is what Tempest ROM is in (advmame 3.9) I cannot get tempest to acknowledge the spinner (or trackball). I have verified the spinner is mouse0 and the trackball is mouse1 using cat /dev/input/mouse0 (and mouse1). I have also verified by id using udevadm. Ive attached my latest advmame.rc settings below. I have also tried everything form the wiki page regarding spinners and trackballs and no of it has worked, Im at a complete loss...
