Well, yes I do have two physical sound cards, to connect the jack of my headphones to... I don't expect to connect them to software (??). When I switched to the on-board Realtek soundcard Equalizer APO simply didn't work at all (not even a simple equalizer plugin did). I'm running HeSuVi on real Creative Soundblaster hardware: an X-Fi Titanium which natively supports CMSS-3D; and it works. My goal is to get virtual 3D sound through software only so that I can remove the sound card from my computer (hardware end-of-life: drivers are no longer updated by Creative). So I installed HeSuVi on top of the latest EqualizerAPO... and nothing works. I figured out that I need choose a HRIR from the list on the left; so I chose cmss_game.wav, because I know my soundcard supports...
