Never mind - going to stay with SPI

I am looking to use some CODECs in a voice project and the chips communicate via TDM which I have not heard of or ever used. Seems to be common in CODEC chips. I am looking at using a TAC5242 chip for 2 single-ended in and 2 single-ended out. I searched for TDM and it brought back nothing...... Anyone?

This is for writing to a STLED316S 7-segment 8 digit controller via 3-wire SPI.

I can always use several variables for the individual digits in the Var: VarD0, VarD1, VarD2, etc.....

I think I am getting some of this. This is what I have WITHOUT figuring out how to read or write to a specific digit in a variable.
